WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Residents can voice their opinions about a project in downtown Wilmington during an open house Thursday.
The Front Street Improvement Project involves replacing 100-year-old water and sewer lines that run under Front Street.
It also includes improvements to the streetscape and making the area more pedestrian friendly and attractive for visitors.
The project will begin in January and will last eight months. It will require shutting down two blocks of Front Street from Market to Chestnut.
Learn more about the project and ask questions at the open house Thursday night at 5:30 in the City Council Chambers.
