WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Michael Jackson cover band, Who's Bad, will be taking the stage Friday night as part of the Downtown Sundown concert series.

Even though the concert was booked months in advance, the group is gaining a lot of attention being called "the ultimate Michael Jackson tribute band."

Who's Bad was founded by UNC student Vasmi Tadepalli five years ago.

The band's show is complete with synchronized dancing, full costumes, and a host of songs spanning three decades of the King of Pop's music.

Since Jackson's passing the group has been busy playing shows across the nation and making appearances on a variety of news, radio, and talk shows.

Tadepalli said he feels honored to be able to pay tribute and celebrate Jackson's life through music.

Who's Bad is set to hit the stage Friday night at 8:00.  Admission is free.
