WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Police Officers are searching for a man accused of robbing a bank Friday morning.
According to police, a man entered the RBC Centura Bank at the intersection of Market Street and New Centre Drive just after 9:00.
Bank employees said a man approached a teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller handed over cash and the man left, but no weapon was shown.
According to police, the robber is described as an older male, under 6-feet-tall, slim build, wearing a light-colored Old Navy T-shirt, long camouflage pants, white sneakers and a fisherman's cap.
