Over the weekend a judge-appointed veterinarian deemed six of the horses healthy enough to be given back to their owners. They were ready to be returned Monday, but the owners didn't make it because they were trying to get a permit for a trailer.
Tuesday morning, the Suttles picked up the six horses, but refused to comment on the issue.
The remaining horses, including two foals, will stay at the stables until a veterinarian decides they are well enough to go home.
Any horses that are not picked up by the owners will be euthanized or be put up for adoption.
