WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Seniors from each New Hanover County High School graduated Saturday.

All four ceremonies took place at Trask Coliseum on the UNCW campus. Many students said they are excited, but anxious about how the economy will impact their college years.  Many will have to try and find a job to pay for their bills. But Hoggard Principal, Dave Spencer, says his Vikings will go to battle and succeed in whatever they set their minds to.

"These kids are going to be successful no matter what they do," said Spencer."  "They are going to be leaders in whichever fields they choose. It's been a very special group to be a part of."

Hoggard students have received over 134 scholarships worth over $2 million dollars.
