NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - New Hanover County school board members met behind closed doors Tuesday and decided to release some information about a former employee charged with indecent liberties.

27-year-old Jessica Wishnask was suspended from Williston Middle School twice toward the end of 2008.  That's when she left New Hanover County and became a teacher in Pitt County.

Last month, resigned from Pactolus Elementary School in Pitt County after being arrested in Wilmington and charged with indecent liberties with a 15-year-old boy.

School board members say they will not release Wishnask's full personnel file, but will give a statement with information regarding her two suspensions from Williston.

"We can release information that's contained in an employee or former employee's personnel file if it goes to the integrity of the board and we feel as a board, as a whole, that our integrity has been called into question and we want to be able to lay those fears to rest for the public," said NHC school board member Elizabeth Redenbaugh.

The board will release its statement after a closed session and a public meeting on Friday at Wrightsboro School.  The closed session is set to begin at 10:30 AM.
