Baked Brie with Brandied Apples

2 (4oz.) Brie Wheels or
1 (8oz.) Brie Wheel
1 stick butter
2 large Granny Smith apples, sliced and cored
1/3 cup Brandy
1/3 cup sliced or slivered almonds
1/4 cup brown sugar
1) Place Brie in oven-safe casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
2) In a saute pan, melt butter. Add almonds and apples; saute until apples are tender. Add brown sugar and brandy. Cook until sugar has melted and formed a slightly thick sauce.
3)Remove Brie from oven and top with apples, almonds and sauce. Serve with warm french bread.
