WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A senior at Hoggard High School fell short of winning a Tuition-Tales Scholarship.
As part of the competition, Joey Connolley submitted a 30 second video explaining why he should win the scholarship of $10,000.
"I make movies," said Joey. "I have made tons of films. It is my passion to make films, in order to make this passion into a career I want to go to NYU, but without enough money I can not go."
Joey was recently accepted into New York University and has been working hard to earn money to pay tuition.
