BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Circumstances surrounding a woman's death seven months ago are still a mystery.
David Babson searches for something that will lead him to a clue about his daughter's death almost every day.
"Empty I've got an empty feeling," said David. "The loss of my daughter. Everyday it's the same, you wake up and you're looking for her. I'm looking for answers."
David's daughter, Amber, was last seen alive at the Boom Boom Room seven months ago. She knocked on the door of a house along Pleasant Garden Road, hysterical for help. The woman of the home said she went inside to call 911 and when she returned, Amber was dead in the road.
"The pain is just as strong as the day they called and told me she was gone," said Amanda Babson, Amber's sister.
"I want to know why she had to leave me this way," said David. "Why this had to happen to her after 7.5 months we still don't know anything except that my daughter was found here and that's pretty much it."
The Bladen County Sheriff's Office said they are working with the SBI to solve the case but it is progressing very slowly.
Anyone with information about Babson's death is asked to call the Bladen County Sheriff's Office.
