Tasty Grouper Salad


  • 1 lb. Grouper filet
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup diced green pepper
  • ½ cup diced dill pickle
  • 1 med. diced tomato
  • 1/8 cup cilantro
  • 2 tbs. Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbs. Horseradish
  • Salt
  • Lime
  • Fresh leaf spinach


Steam fish for approximately 20 minutes.  Check the thickest part of the fish to see if done.  Chill grouper until cool.  In a medium size bowl chunk grouper with a fork.  Next, add diced vegetables, mayo, horseradish, juice from 2 lime wedges, cilantro, and salt to taste.  Chill in refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.  Serve over fresh leaf spinach or fresh lettuce.
