BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A popular place for lunch in Brunswick County has opened its new kitchen and will be able to prepare to-go meal while the cafeteria undergoes renovations.
The Brunswick County Cafeteria in the Government Complex in Bolivia will be closed for three months for repairs, but employees are able to cook in their new 6,700 square foot kitchen.
Workers say the improvements were needed because they provide meals for a lot of people.
The cafeteria provides about 2,000 meals a day, and the director said they will still provide food for the jail and the Meals on Wheels program.
