New England Clam Chowder

1/4 cup green onions

1/4 cup celery

1/4 cup carrots in butter

3 cups of blanched, cubed potatoes

2 cups clam juice

2 cups minced clams

2 cups chicken stock

 cavender seasoning 

1 cup of cream or milk(optional)

1) Begin by sauteing your onions, celery, and carrots in butter.

2) Then add the potatoes, clam juice, clams, chicken stock, and just a dash of cavender seasoning. You can also add a cup of cream or milk if you want.

3) Follow that up with a Rue (equal part of butter & flour)

4) Stir and cook until bubbly. Enjoy!
