WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Low-cost carrier Allegiant Air is dropping one of its flights out of Wilmington.
The airline will drop its service between ILM and Tampa, Florida on or around Memorial Day. That's according to Airport Director John Rosborough.
He said there just was not a consistent passenger load on the flight for it to be successful.
Allegiant will continue its Orlando route, and Rosborough said he continues to work with the airline on potential new destinations in southern Florida.
