WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Atlantic Southeast Airlines grounded several flights nationwide April 1.

The Delta connection stopped 60 flights so engines could be inspected.

An internal audit forced the cancellations after it showed the company lacked all of its inspection records.

Three of the canceled flights were scheduled to fly out of Wilmington's International Airport Wednesday morning, but flights were promptly back on schedule.
