WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The city of Wilmington hosted it's first annexation information session Thursday night.
The meeting was held at City Hall and offered information to residents about the proposed annexation in the Monkey Junction area.
People were able to meet with experts from different city departments to talk about services like water and trash pickup.
The second public hearing will be held Tuesday, April 2 at Codington Elementary at 6:30 p.m.
