First annual Southern Farm Days to hit Lake Waccamaw

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Cape Fear Farm Heritage Associations is hosting the first annual Southern Farm Days in Lake Waccamaw this weekend.

The two-day festival is a family-oriented event to benefit the Boys and Girls Home of the area.  The Boys and Girls Homes is an organization to provide foster care and adoption programs for neglected, abused, and hurting children.

The Southern Farm Days show will feature antique tractors and tractor games, a championship draft horse pulling, old time farm demonstrations, Civil War interpretations, working horses, mules, and more!

There will be traditional music and entertainment, as well as food and crafts.

Saturday, March 21  --  9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sunday, March 22 --  9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Worship service at 9 AM)

Boys and Girls Home Exhibition Center
Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450

*Proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls club of Lake Waccamaw.
