MARCH 22, 2005 --A proposed bill in the North Carolina State Legislature would make it easier for people to get a quick loan.
The bill, introduced by State Representative Thomas Wright (D-New Hanover), would allow people to borrow up to $1,200 dollars in an unsecured loan.
The catch is that the interest on the loans would be much higher than regular loans.
Wright says these loans would be in a separate category from the payday advance loan services already offered.
