BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The dress code at Leland Middle School will be a little stricter in the fall.
Students will only be allowed to wear striped or solid Polo shirts of any color. They can pair the shirts with dark or khaki shorts, skirts, and pants. The school will also have some designated days where students can wear blue jeans.
The principal of Leland Middle School said the current dress code wasn't enough to keep some students from dressing inappropriately. She added one of the most important parts of the new dress code is making sure the clothing fits properly and isn't too tight or too baggy.
