NHC schools adopt the Summer Food Service Program

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Children will be able to eat nutritional meals for free this summer, thanks to the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided from June 30 - August 6 and is available to all children accepted to the program.

Meals will be provided at the following Wilmington locations at the specified times.  Starting on June 30th, these nutrition sites begin operating Monday - Thursday.

Child Development Center, 3802 Princess Place
11:15 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Creekwood South, 714 Emory Street
11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Derrick Davis, 1101 Manley Avenue
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m., lunch will be served 4:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m., snacks will be served  

Greentree Apartments, 4615 Greentree Road
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Hemenway Center, 507 McRae Street
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m., lunch will be served 4:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m., snacks will be served

Hillcrest, 1014 South 14th Street
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Jervay Communities, 1088 Thomas C. Jervay Loop,
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Martin Luther King Center, 401 South 8th Street
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m., lunch will be served 4:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m., snacks will be served

Mary S. Mosley Performance Learning Center, 1805 South 13th Street
10:30 a.m. -12:00 noon

NHC Day Treatment Center, 716 South 3rd Street
11:40 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
