BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Brunswick elementary students are going to have a major change in wardrobe next year; they'll be wearing uniforms.
On Tuesday night school board members approved the uniform policy for Lincoln Elementary school in Leland.
Students at Belville Elementary and the new Town Creek elementary school, which opens next year, will also wear uniforms.
Brunswick County School Board Member Charlie Miller says parents, teachers, and students, for the most part, are in favor of the idea.
the students will primarily wear khaki pants and skorts with navy or white polo style shirts.
