    Non-profit prepares to move dogs to new facility worth $700k

    A non-profit animal rescue group in Brunswick County is getting ready to start a new chapter. Paws Place Inc., was created in 1999 with a vision and mission to rescue and rehabilitate dogs in the area so they can be adopted into forever homes. Nearly 20 years later, the no-kill shelter is moving from its outdoor facility in Boiling Spring Lakes to a larger property, just a couple of miles down the road.
