A cold night is in store for us with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures falling into the teens by Thursday morning. Wind chills will be in the single digits with northwesterly winds picking up between 10-20 mph.
Thursday will bring mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 20s by afternoon. There is a 20% chance of a few flurries or light snow showers mainly for our far southern counties.
Temperatures will struggle to 20° on Friday with a slightly better chance of snow for our southern counties. A dusting up to 1/2 an inch of snow is possible Friday morning for our SSE counties with a few snow flurries possible towards the metro.
Better snow chances continue to look more likely for everyone on Sunday which likely could end up being our first widespread 1" or more snowfall for the region. Current data supports a broad 1" to 3" snow Sunday into Sunday night.
