Wilmington Authorities Found a Man Using Surveillance Pictures

Posted: Updated:

WILMINGTON -- A man involved in a domestic dispute at the Hardee's on Carolina Beach Road last week turned himself in after seeing surveillance pictures on the news.

Corey Benjamin Jones, of Castle Hayne, was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Wilmington authorities hoped someone would recognize the man in the surveillance pictures to the right.

According to Police, the man was arguing with a woman in the parking lot.

The woman went inside the restaurant to use the phone and the man followed her.

He put a gun to an employee's head and pulled the trigger, but the gun did not go off.
