NEW HANOVER CO., NC (WECT) -- A jury has found Lakendra Grady guilty of first degree murder.

Grady is accused of playing a part in the death of 27-year-old Pervis Owens back in January of 2006.  Owens was shot while sitting on the porch of his 10th Street home.

Friday, a jury sentenced Grady to life in prison without parole and found her guilty of first degree murder, first degree burglary, and robbery with a firearm.

Three other people are also accused in the case.  Maurice Miller was sentenced to life without parole in December 2007 for first degree murder and other charges.

Rufice Bowser, 16, was also sentenced Friday to 14 to 19 years in prison for second degree murder and armed robbery.  A fourth teenager has not been sentenced.
