RALEIGH -- North Carolina's attorney general is one step closer to shutting down a Wilmington paving company.
A Wake County judge signed an injunction Tuesday that puts new restrictions on New Hanover Asphalt.
Tommy Clack is accused of targeting seniors and selling door-to-door without informing customers they have a right to cancel service within three days. He is also accused of not getting the proper permits or abiding by asphalt laws that vary in different counties.
He pled guilty to several charges in April and is now barred from selling in New Hanover County.
The new restrictions cover the entire state and force Clack to inform potential clients of their right to cancel and to abide by county laws.
Meanwhile, the attorney general is still working to shut down New Hanover Asphalt altogether.
