JANUARY 24, 2006 -- An NBC show that created a big national debate won't be on the air anymore. "The Book of Daniel" didn't make it past week four.
The highly controversial show about an Episcopalian priest and his dysfunctional family is being dropped from NBC's line up effective immediately. The network's decision to cancel the show is based on low ratings.
The Friday time slot will be replaced this week by a rerun of Law and Order.
