DECEMBER 12, 2005 -- An annual event in Wilmington has chugged its way into a top 20 list. The Southeast Tourism Society has named the annual Model Railroad Show and Sale one of its top 20 events in the southeast.
At the event sponsored by the Cape Fear Model Railroad Club, train buffs enjoy all things railroad, including free clinics, railroad memorabilia and working trains.
This year's railroad show will take place on January 28 and 29 at the Legion Post 10 building.
