Laura Sinacori

Laura Sinacori is a Weekend Anchor, Reporter and Producer for WECT and WSFX. She came to Wilmington from the University of Georgia after graduating in 2007 with a B.A. in Broadcast News and Minors in Speech Communications and Spanish.  While at the University of Georgia, Laura was President of DiGamma Kappa Broadcast Society and worked production for the prestigious Peabody Awards.  She also interned at CNN for World Report and at CBS 46 News where she worked closely with the Consumer Investigative Reporter.  While at CNN she was a judge for the World Report Awards.

Growing up with a military father, Laura has lived in many places. Laura has been interested in news since high school and her internships reinforced the desire to become a news reporter. Laura strives to make a difference through giving voices to people who otherwise may not be heard. In her spare time she enjoys golfing and singing.
