
SEPTEMBER 15, 2005 -- As Hurricane Ophelia made its way across Southeastern North Carolina Wednesday, it left behind a vast amount of rain. And that meant flooding across our area.
The Woodsorrel Road neighborhood off Gordon Road was practically under water. People had to push stalled cars out of the road, but that didn't stop them from walking around and checking out the damage.
