WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Residents in Wilmington will get the opportunity to learn more about the city's budget, during budget education meetings.
The meetings are expected to give residents more information on the city's finances. Residents will also be able to ask questions or discuss concerns they may have about the city's financial future.
There will be three meetings held in October. The first meeting will be Thursday at the fellowship hall of Winter Park Baptist Church on 4700 Wrightsville Avenue.
The second meeting will be held on October 18, at the New Hanover County Arboretum at 6206 Oleander drive. The last meeting will take place on October 26, in City Hall.
All three meetings will start at 6:00 p.m., and are expected to last until 7:30 p.m.
