Reward offered for information in Dawkins' case

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Pender County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the death of a 23-year-old woman.

Around Christmas of 2009, Tiffany Dawkins was found shot to death on the side of N.C. 133 in Rocky Point.  According to the sheriff's office, her body was discovered relatively near Cape Fear Elementary and Middle School.

Deputies located her car in New Hanover County days later.  It was taken to an impound lot, where investigators searched the vehicle for evidence.

The Pender County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday that they are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office, (910) 259-1212.
