Cedric Simmons joins Chinese team

Former West Brunswick and N.C. State star Cedric Simmons has left the NBA Developmental League to join the Dongguan Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association.

After being traded to the Sacramento kings in 2008 Simmons spent time in the Greek League before joining the Idaho Stampede in December.

In 13 games with the Stampede Simmons averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and 31 minutes.
