PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - There's a new website to promote tourism in Pender County.
The Official Pender County Tourism Website, www.visitpender.com, portrays the best of what the county has to offer visitors and neighbors. It includes general descriptions and multitudes of images showing the area.
Categories include:
The Tourism Authority Board has been working to identify as many tourism assets as possible to include in a user friendly site.
The Tourism Office and County IT Department will update the new website frequently with new images and information.
Plans are already in the works to expand the site with pages to draw more visitors, eventually resulting in more and more visitors to Pender County.
The Authority said they hope citizens and visitors are pleased about the new site, and encourages suggestions to continually improve the site.
