COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Town of Bolton has received a $600,000 federal grant to revitalize the town's police department.
Bolton residents have been relying on law enforcement services from the Lake Waccamaw Police Department and the Columbus County Sheriff's Office for the past two years.
Town officials said the new department should be operating by the beginning of 2010. They're already looking for a Bolton Police Chief.
