Casey first came to WECT from our sister station in Memphis, TN and is now back in the Port City after reporting for the nationally-syndicated show, ‘America Now.'
The return voyage was her 19th move since 2002 and she promises it will be her last! Casey has lived coast-to-coast (and it seems, many places in between) for various work and film projects but her feet are now firmly planted back at WECT…and in the sand.
Having gone to business school, becoming a television reporter was never in Casey's plans, until spending one summer in college filming and interviewing for a PBS series, "Roadtrip Nation." That project lead to others including filming in Chile and working as an undercover camera(wo)man in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
We know her best by her blunt, "New Jersey" sense of humor. You will probably remember Casey from of her amusing live shots, community events or in-depth stories. She is currently leading our Special Projects division and acting as a Reporter Coach for some of WECT's newer faces.
Casey's has brought 1st place honors to WECT from the Regional Television News Directors Association and Edward R. Murrow awards.
