
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Western Alliance Bancorporation said Thursday its longtime director and former chairman, Arthur Marshall, will retire from its board on Oct. 31.
Marshall, 80, will also step down from his role as chairman of the Bank of Nevada, a unit of Western Alliance. He's held the spot since the board was established in 1994.
Marshall has been a Western Alliance director since 1995 and was chairman until December 2002.
Western Alliance shares closed down 11 cents at $5.92 in Thursday trading. The stock has changed hands between $3.72 and $16.75 in the past 52 weeks.
