WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - An actor from the "One Tree Hill" TV series has pleaded guilty in federal court.

Reports say Antwon Tanner who plays "Skills" on the show pleaded guilty in a New York court to selling more than a dozen social security numbers for $10,000.

Tanner could get as much as a year in prison when he is sentenced in November.

A CW Network spokesman said Tanner will be in several new episodes of the series, but it's not clear what will happen later in the seventh season.

The series began filming in Wilmington in the fall of 2003.  "One Tree Hill" has signed on for a seventh season, surpassing the other Wilmington filmed teen drama "Dawson's Creek."
