WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A new art exhibit at UNCW features the work of a local child prodigy.
17-year-old George Pocheptsov is a world renowned artist. He uses acrylics on canvas, sculpts acrylics, and paints with oils.
Organizers of the exhibit said they are thrilled to be able to show Pacheptsov's works in their gallery.
The exhibit opened Wednesday, August 5 and will run through Thursday, August 27.
There will be a reception for Pocheptsov at the Union Center Wednesday, August 19, beginning at 6:00 PM.
