COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - For the second time in a week, Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Columbus County.
According to troopers, a car collided with a four-wheeler on Blacksmith Road near the town of Bolton Thursday night around 8:30.
21-year-old Wilbert Daniels was driving the four-wheeler and died instantly in the crash.
23-year-old Jeremy Freeman was driving the car which flipped into a small canal, ultimately killing him and two other passengers: Matthew Freeman, 25, and Channing Freeman, 24.
Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
