WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Cameron School of Business at UNCW turned into a high tech lab Thursday evening as they hosted the 2009 Wilmington Area IT Professionals Technology Exchange and Fair.
More than 300 students, faculty, and local technology vendors were at the event to demonstrate developing technologies and how they are being integrated into teaching, learning, and industry applications.
Some of the exhibits included the latest technologies related to age estimations in facial recognition technology, integrating facial recognition with the Facebook development platform, iPhone application development and UNCW text messaging applications.
There was also a roundtable discussion to share recent innovations, problems, and solutions.
