The Santaland Diaries returns to the stage in a Christmastime tradition

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Santaland Diaries is an honest and hilarious look at what it’s like to be a mall elf during the holidays.

The stage show is an annual tradition in Wilmington. This year, Panache productions brings the show to The Ruth and Bucky Stein Studio Theatre in Thalian Hall.

David Sedaris wrote the story about his real-life misadventures of working for Macy’s Santaland as a disgruntled elf.

Kevin Wilson stars as Crumpet. He is joined by The Not Ready for Christmas Carolers, Jacy Coffman, Amy Carter and Kaleb Bradley. The show is directed by Anthony David Lawson.

Please be advised the show contains adult language and subject matter.
