WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Freddie’s has been serving up Italian food in Kure Beach for almost 25 years.
Fred Shambora and Barbara Gargan opened the doors to Freddie’s in 1995. Barbara’s son, Rob, is the general manager and he shared the recipe for Freddie’s famous peach pecan pork chops with WECT’s BIll Murray.

- 2oz lemon pepper
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups sliced peaches
- i cup toasted pecans
- 2T unsalted butter
- 3 oz. peach schnapps
