UNCW women’s winning streak snapped at VCU

RICHMOND, VA (WECT) - Shrita Parker recorded the first double-double of her college career, but it was not enough as VCU beat the Seahawks 58-47 in Richmond on Wednesday evening.

UNCW (4-2) saw its three-game win streak snapped.

Parker, who scored in double figures for the sixth consecutive game, led all players with 15 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. GiGi Smith and Lacey Suggs each added 11 points for the Seahawks in the loss.
