New Hanover Co. students relocated to different schools after hurricane
Students in some New Hanover County schools are being relocated after Hurricane Florence.

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Due to damage caused by Hurricane Florence, some New Hanover County schools and classes are being relocated.

Students at College Park Elementary School are scheduled to return to class on Oct. 8. Kindergarten through third grade students will go to Castle Hayne Elementary located at 3925 Roger Haynes Drive in Castle Hayne.

Fourth and fifth grade College Park students will attend Holly Shelter Middle Schools at 3921 Roger Haynes Drive in Castle Hayne.

College Parks’s specially designed academics class will be held at Castle Hayne Elementary.

The fifth grade students at Castle Hayne Elementary will attend Holly Shelter Middle. Classes resume on Oct. 4.

All students at Mary C. Williams Elementary will go to Codington Elementary located at 4321 Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington. Classes begin Oct. 4 and the approximate end date for Williams students at Codington is Oct. 12.

International School at Gregory students will attend classes at Snipes Academy at 2150 Chestnut Street in Wilmington. Classes resume Oct. 4 and the approximate end date for Gregory students at Snipes is Oct. 12.
